Muzeum Polskiego Przemysłu Siarkowego w Tarnobrzegu

     Muzeum Polskiego Przemysłu Siarkowego w Tarnobrzegu, otwarte w 2013 roku, jest oddziałem Muzeum Historycznego Miasta Tarnobrzega. Placówka mieści się w dawnym spichlerzu dworskim z 1843 roku, położonym kilkaset metrów na północ od Zamku Tarnowskich. Budynek, wzniesiony w stylu klasycystycznym według projektu Jana Bogdana Tarnowskiego, został odnowiony i przystosowany na potrzeby muzealne w latach 1989–1991. Podczas prac renowacyjnych zadbano o zachowanie oryginalnych modrzewiowych stropów oraz pierwotnego układu wnętrz. Projekt renowacji opracował architekt Andrzej Pawlik na bazie koncepcji Adama Wójcika.

 

     Na dziedzińcu muzeum znajduje się pomnik Józefa Piłsudskiego, wzniesiony w 1995 roku z inicjatywy Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Tarnobrzega i Muzeum Historycznego Miasta Tarnobrzega, z okazji 60. rocznicy śmierci Marszałka. Obok pomnika stoi obelisk upamiętniający konie z dawnych stadnin dzikowskich, a także głaz narzutowy pochodzący z zagrody senatora II RP, Wojciecha Wiącka z Machowa.
