Muzeum Czynu Powstańczego w Górze Świętej Anny

     Muzeum Czynu Powstańczego w Górze Świętej Anny to placówka, która jest częścią Muzeum Śląska Opolskiego w Opolu.

 

     Pomysł utworzenia muzeum narodził się w 1961 roku podczas obchodów czterdziestej rocznicy III powstania śląskiego. Otwarcie muzeum nastąpiło cztery lata później. Początkowo mieściło się ono w budynku szkoły w Leśnicy, który był miejscem stacjonowania dowództwa 3 Katowickiego Pułku Powstańczego im. Jana Henryka Dąbrowskiego podczas III powstania. W 1980 roku muzeum przeniesiono do obecnego miejsca, jakim jest budynek "Domu Polskiego" na terenie Góry Świętej Anny, dawniej należący do Związku Polaków w Niemczech.

 

     W muzeum można podziwiać ekspozycje związane z historią powstań śląskich oraz procesem przejmowania terenów Górnego Śląska przez Polaków. Ponadto prezentowane są wystawy dotyczące historii zespołu klasztornego franciszkanów, polskiego ruchu narodowego w latach 1848-1918, działalności Towarzystwa Gimnastycznego "Sokół", a także historii Związku Polaków w Niemczech i Związku Harcerstwa Polskiego w Niemczech.

 

     W 2006 roku muzeum wzbogaciło swoją ofertę o "Panoramę Powstań Śląskich" - multimedialny spektakl historyczny. W tym samym roku przeniesiono tutaj również Dział Przyrody Muzeum Śląska Opolskiego. W 2023 roku muzeum zostało uhonorowane Śląską Nagrodą im. Juliusza Ligonia.
